A former member representing Sumaila/Takai Federal Constituency of Kano state in the House of Representatives, Kawu Sumaila, has confessed that he pities the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) without a sitting president.
Kawu who had served as a Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on National Assembly matters, said this on his personal Facebook page on Sunday.
He posted that, “ PDP is experiencing the bitter side of the opposition which we tested for almost 16 years.”
“We have more crisis in APC but since we have a sitting president we managed our own, I pity APC without a sitting president,” he concluded.
In 2019, Kawu had his aspiration to rejoin the House of Representatives nullified by a Federal High Court in Kano
The court recognized Shamsuddeen Dambazau, a son of the former Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, as the APC candidate for the position.
