Fire service men in Kano State have succeeded in retrieving the body of 14-year-old body was who died in a pond at Nassarawa Local Government.
Kano State Fire Service command’s spokesman, Saminu Yusuf Abdullahi, while confirming the death, said, “we received a distress call at about 3.27 pm from one Muhammad Adamu, and we dispatched our rescue team to the scene at about 3:32 pm.”
According to Abdullahi, the young boy was taken to the Muhammadu Sunusi General Hospital for medical attention, where the on-duty doctor later confirmed his death.
According to Abdullahi, the corpse was handed over to ASP Abdul’aziz Sani of the Dakata Police Division for further investigation into the cause of the incident.
