The New Nigerian Peoples Party’s (NNPP) presidential candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso has challenged all other contenders to be open about their health state before the 2023 general election.
Kwankwaso assured Nigerians at the presidential town hall series on Arise Television that his health is sound and that he can provide them with a copy of his medical record.
He said, “I believe that if you’re aspiring to lead people, you owe them accountability regarding your health status.
“I assure you that I am in good health and I can release my certificate for you to see. And the last medical examination I had gave me a good health guarantee of 30 years.”
Responding to the challenge the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar said he is ready to provide Nigerians with his health status if need be.
Atiku, however said he may not be able to use Nigeria’s healthcare facilities because there are limitations that needs to be addressed.
