By now the name Malam Inuwa Ibrahim Waya has become synonymous with the gubernatorial aspiration in Kano state. He was one of the first set of aspirants if not the very first to declare their intention to contest for the number one chair in the state.
As the election year, 2023, gently rolls in, the veteran lawyer and former PC Managing Director on Shipping Affairs, Barr Waya is unrelenting in the his aspiration.
In a fresh development, Kamal Sarki has been appointed the new campaign director general to further revitalized the campaign engine of the Waya’s aspiration.
The new director in his own capacity is a seasoned politician, a respected partisan and an experienced politician with exemplary human relation. Kamal Sarki fits well in the set up and his timely appointment is described by (Dr) Abubakar Tanko Bala as a round peg placed in a round hole.
The appointment is a preparation of the Waya’s team to face the task of acing in the 2023 election year, says Labaran Hayaki Fidda na Kogo one of the witnesses of the event.
With the new development, it is expected that the Waya’s movement will take a whole different level throughout the forth coming months.
