The Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, missed the 69th birthday and 12th colloquium of All Progressives Congress leader, Bola Tinubu, on Monday as a result of disruption by bad weather.

Osinbajo, who later joined the event virtually alongside the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.) and many other dignitaries said that this is the first time he is physically missing the colloquium.

The event, which was scheduled to start at 12pm was shifted to 12.30 due to the absence of several VIPs, a moderator informed attendees on the Zoom platform.

However, it was learnt that about 60 members of the House of Representatives led by Majority Leader, Ado Doguwa, who are already within Kano State, were said to have attended.
