President Muhammad Buhari has yielded to the demands of the House of Representatives to address its plenary on the state of the nation, particularly the insecurity ravaging the northern part of Nigeria. This was revealed by the Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila.
The lower legislative chamber of the National Assembly had earlier resolved to invite the president over incessant killings and insecurity in the country.
Speaking at the
Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday, Gbajabiamila told newsmen that he has met with the president over the issue, and he has agreed to address the House on the measures being taken by federal government to contain the insecurity affecting the country.
