A 23-year old boy Suleiman Isah is finally set to wed his 46-year old heartthrob Janine Sanchez on 13th December 2020 at MOPOL Barrack Juma’at mosque, Panshekara.
The couple that met on a social networking site Instagram had earlier generated interest on social media across Nigeria, when Ms. Sanchez flew all the way from California, United States, to Kano to meet with her lover and his family in January 2020.
During the romantic visit, Ms. Sanchez told newsmen in Kano that they met on Instagram and she got the impression that he is a nice guy. “He messaged me on Instagram saying Hi.
But there was a guy messaging me and Isah knew he was a scammer so he said to the guy one day, ‘get a job and quit scamming innocent people’ and so I thought he sounded like a nice guy.”
Isah’s parents had already blessed the couple during Ms. Sanchez’s initial visit to Kano, and made her to promise them that she would allow their child to complete his school in US after their wedding. Earlier plan for Isah and Sanchez wedding was affected by COVID-19 travel restrictions. Ms. Sanchez, who is a chef, has two kids with her previous husband whom she shares joint custody with.
A source close to Isah’s family who spoke to Sahelian Times has said that Ms. Sanchez is already on her way from US to Kano in preparation for the grand wedding.
He further said, “She is presently in Ethiopia, and we are expecting her arrival in Kano soon.” Invitation cards for the wedding fatiha have already started circulating
