The Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) has killed a top Civilian Joint Task Force ( CJTF) commander, Mustapa Ya Gremaye.
While confirming the killing, Zagazola Makama, said the terrorist sneaked into Nganzai town and assassinated the well-known leader of the task force.
The last few days have seen an upsurge in attacks on CJTF members in their residences.
On September 23, SAHELIAN TIMES reported that ISWAP terrorists attacked and kidnapped four members of the security staff at the Rural-Urban Migration Site (RUGA), in the village of Pompom Baliya, which is about 5 kilometres from Gubio.
