The officers of kano Road and Traffic Agency(KAROTA) are becoming notorious for abusing the human rights of Kano citizens as they continue to physically assault and harass members of the public.
Few days after the Managing Director of the Agency, Dr. Baffa Babba was summoned by the police for allegedly physically assaulting a tricycle rider in the state, SAHELIAN TIMES sighted an officer with the agency physically assaulting a man.
The officer was seen in the viral video using abusive words on the offender and strangled him with his two hands while other officers of the agencies in uniform watch.
While confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the agency, Nabilusi Abubakar Kofar Na’isa said that, the abuse will not go unpunished.
The spokesperson is also yet to respond on the Agency’s MD who physically assaulted a tricycle rider in the state.
