The Kano State Police Command, on Monday, question the suspended chairman of the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, PCACC, Muhuyi Rimingado, over charges of forged medical report.

SAHELAIN TIMES reported that the Kano State House of Assembly had invited the embattled chairman to appear before an ad-hoc committee investigating a petition against him by the Kano State Accountant General.

Magaji did not appear before the committee, instead his lawyers presented medical reports citing medical condition as the reason why he was unable to appear before the State of House of Assembly.

The National Hospital on 19 July wrote to the Kano State House of Assembly distancing itself from the medical records he presented.

Sources told SAHELIAN TIMES that Magaji was at Bompai Police Headquarters answering questions, when the State Assembly recommended his sack to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
