Sheikh Dahiru has condemned the invasion of his house by Kaduna State Government and alleged that the authority acted out of disrespect of the Islamic Holy Book, Qur’an.

The Sheikh, in a viral audio, said that the arrest of 160 Almajiri students by a combined team of soldiers and policemen, in the middle of the night, tear-gassing them, has clearly shown disrespect toward the Qur’an.

“Humans all over the planet are entitled to freedom of practising their religion. They also have the rights to live in whatever part of the country they wish to. Again, before invading any person’s house the laws mandated that he or she should be presented with a court warrant, but that was not done in our case.”

Sheikh Dahiru said that the use of disproportionate force against his students will not deter them from reading the Qur’an “they despise”.

He emphasized that the Qur’an is a revelation from Allah to His messenger, and the message of the holy book is always spreading.

He further added that It was after the death of the Prophet of Islam that thousands of Muslims memorized the Qur’an against the few during the life of the prophet. “Whoever tries to bring down the Holy Book, the book will prevail and bring that person down,” Sheikh asserted.

“We will not stop reading and the teaching of the Qur’an for or against the approval westerners’ puppet,” said Sheikh Bauchi.

The Sheikh said it is surprising how a non-muslim president built schools for Almajiris, but after a Muslim president takes over, those schools were left for animals to harbour.

“The President and the Governor of Kaduna denied having anything to do with the incident when asked, “It was later in an interview that the task force admitted that the invasion was an outcome of the meeting of 19 northeners governors,” Sheikh concluded.
