Following flight delays, a large number of passengers have blocked the boarding gate at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
Angry passengers complain on Monday morning that they have been waiting at the airport since Sunday night to catch flights to various destinations.
Passengers of Arik Airlines scheduled to depart at 7 p.m. on Sunday remained at the terminal as of 8:36 a.m., ‘without explanation from flight workers or officials.’
Passengers complain about having an uncomfortable night at the airport.
The airport chairs the passengers used as mattresses for many of them.
