The presidential campaign council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has canceled the second planned presidential campaign rally in Kano State.
The Secretary of the Campaign Council, James Faleke, who announced in a tweet on Thursday that the rally scheduled for February 16 had been canceled, did not give any reason for the cancellation.
The campaign held a rally at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano on January 4, but according to the party’s timetable, Kano is supposed to host the party twice.
It is unclear if the cancellation of the rally is unconnected to the outcry over the scarcity of Naira.
