The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commenced the screening of presidential hopefuls seeking to fly the party’s flag in the 2023 general elections.
The exercise is being conducted secretly at a popular hotel in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, and other party leaders are already at the venue of the exercise, according to what a national TV, Channels Television, observed on Monday.
SAHELIAN TIMES had earlier reported how The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned a former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, before a Federal High Court in Abuja.
Okorocha, a presidential aspirant in the ruling All Progressives Congress, was arraigned Monday morning on a 17-count charge of fraud to the tune of N2.9 billion it’s not clear wether this will affect his chances to be screened.
