The gunners have been heavily linked with Brazilian forwards, Gabriel Jesus and Raphinha. It is now widely reported that the north London club have stepped up interest in the duo after securing Porto’s midfielder, Fabio Vieira’s move to the Emirates.

On Gabriel Jesus

Jesus has been a long term target for Arsenal. Manager Mikel Arteta and sporting Director Edu Gaspar are said to be huge admirers of his playing style. The recent arrivals of Erling Halaand and Julian Alvarez have put the player in doubts of getting regular playing time at Manchester City. The four times Premier league winner has since been open for a move away from city and reportedly eyes a move to the Emirates. Arsenal had their 30m bid for Jesus turned down by the EPL champions. However the gunners have improved their offer for the Brazilian and talks with Man City have reached critical stage. The two clubs are confident that agreement will reached soon for the forward.

On Raphinha

The 25-year old winger was key to Leeds United survival in the Premier League. Barcelona were initially frontrunners for the Brazilian’s signature but have since been slowed down by Leeds’ 60m price tag for the player. Arsenal, who were reported to be in the race for the winger, have reawakened their interest their interest in his service. Italy’s Fabrizio Romano reported that the gunners are now in direct negotiations with Leeds for Raphinha.
