Bandits abducted a number of persons, including a married woman, in the early hours of Sunday in Angwar Zalla Udawa, Kaduna State’s Chikun Local Government Area.
The incident reportedly happened around 12:30 a.m. leading to the death of one person.
Daily Trust reported that gunmen stormed the village along the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway.
According to the paper, married women and young ladies are among those abducted.
There is no official reaction yet from the state government and the police as calls to the state Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Jalige Mohammed, were unanswered
