Bandits have killed a ward chairman of the Progressive Congress (APC) and kidnapped several others in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The victim, Iliya Auta, was reportedly killed by the bandits in the late hours of Monday.
The terrorist also injured several residents and rustled cattle belonging to the locals.
Bandit attacks in Kaduna have become more frequent in recent months.
The Bandits attacked the state airport for the first time in April.
In April, the bandits attacked the Abuja-Kaduna highway and kidnapped passengers who have yet to be released.
