Bandits have reportedly killed scores of worshippers in attack on Juma’at Mosque in Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
According to residents, the bandits concealed their guns inside their clothes and stormed the mosque during Juma’at prayer.
The exact number of Muslims killed in the attack is unclear, but as of the time of writing, 15 bodies had been recovered.
The Zamfara State Police Command did not comment on the incident at the time of writing this report.
