The 21-year-old victim identified only as Deborah was on Saturday abducted along yet to be ascertained number of people along Tapila-Gwada road, an area located in Shiroro LGA of the state.

They requested that Deborah’s parents pay N1 million in cash and purchase a motorcycle for them for N750,000.

“These people are asking for N1 million ransom, and that we buy a bike worth about 750,000 and pay the person that would come to collect the cash, or else they would marry her off to one of them, “Theresa, the victim’s aunt, told TheCable.

The affected community is a 30-minute drive from Minna, Niger State’s capital city.
