The governor of Bauchi State, Sen Bala A Muhammed, has fired his entire executive council and political appointees, including the Secretary to the State Government, the Chief of Staff and all special advisers, excluding the Special Advisers on security, National and State Assembly Liaison, Social Investment and Media and Publicity.
This was contained in a statement signed by Mukhtar Gidado., The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.
The Governor thanked all the affected appointees and wished them the best in their future endeavors.
Senator Bala is the second governor in recent months to sack his entire executive council, after Zamfara state Governor.
