US Vice President, Mike Pence, has defied President Trump’s order that would see him making last minute move to thwart Biden’s victory.
Pence has finally, reportedly, said he can’t claim “unilateral authority” to reject the electoral college victory certified for the President-elect Biden.
Lately, reports filtered that Trump was exerting enormous pressure on Pence to use unilateral power to reject the swing states’ votes, that gave decisive victory to Biden.
Pence, however, has been resisting this unconstitutional move, an intrigue leading to tension between him and Trump.
