Professor Dahiru Yahya of Bayero University Kano is dead.
The Professor, born 1947, hails from Dawakin Kudu. He had both his Primary and Secondary school education there before bagging a BA in History from Abdullahi Bayero College, ABU in 1970. He had his PhD in the University of Birmingham.
He was a scholar, with many publications to his name and the first person to be honored with a Festschrift in Bayero University, Kano.
