President Muhammad Buhari has extended his condolences to the former Kano state governor Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso over the death of his father Alh. Musa Saleh Kwankwaso. Until his death, Alh Musa was the district head of Madobi.

In a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mal. Garba Shehu, Buhari said the late Alh. Musa was a man of impressive character whose humility and simplicity rank among his greatest virtues.

“Let me use this opportunity to extend my heartfelt sympathies to former Governor Kwankwaso, the Kano State Government, and the Kano Emirate Council over the death of the District Head. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with Aljannah, amin,” the President said.

Late Musa died in the early hours of today and has since been buried according to Islamic rites at Miller road residence of the former governor.
