A former gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Hon. Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada, dumped the party and picked the gubernatorial ticket of the Action Democratic Party (ADP).
Sharada who is a servings member representing Kano Municipal defected to the ADP and adopted as the party’s gubernatorial candidate, a close associate, Rabiu Shamma, confirmed to SAHELIAN TIMES.
An uncertainty surrounds the current flag bearer of ADP, Nasir Hassan Koguna’s willingness to vacate the position for Sharada after winning primary election in June 2022.
