Buhari’s nephew loses reps primary election

Fatuhu Muhammad, President Muhammadu Buhari’s nephew, has lost his bid for re-election in the upcoming general election,

Muhammad, a member in the House of Assembly representing Daura/Sandamu/Maiadua Federal Constituency, lost Aminu Jamo.

According to the result announced after the conclusion of the primary exercise, Muhammad secured a total of 30 votes, while Jamo polled 117 votes.

Salisu Daura, Aminu Jamo, and Kabir Abdullahi had in 2018 accused the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led state government of imposing Muhammad on their constituency .
