Danjuma Maiwada, a professor of Education in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, Bayero University Kano, (BUK) is dead.
Maiwada, who died on Tuesday, was born on March 23, 1951, and previously served as Acting Vice Chancellor of the university.
The Professor received his Bachelors and Master of Arts degrees in 1975 and 1978, respectively, from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and Bayero University Kano.
He had solely supervised and produced many Ph.D. students as well as M.A. students in Education during the course of his career.
