The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Tanko Muhammad, has not tested positive for COVID-19, a source close to the family has said.

The source that spoke to SahelianTimes said that, the CJN has been in the United Arab Emirate (UAE) for almost two weeks. He traveled to the Emirate with one of his wives, for a private trip and to undergo a medical check-up.

The source further reassured that the CJN is expected to be back in Nigeria soon.

Justice Tanko has missed the swearing of the new Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SANs) in Abuja, on Monday, and that raised question of his whereabouts.
