Court orders full compliance of Abduljabbar’s ban

A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Kano has ordered that security agencies and authorities to ensure that Sheikh Abduljabbar Nasir Kabara’s has complied with the order for the closure of his mosque
.
The presiding Chief Magistrate, Mohammed Jibrin said he granted the order on Thursday  “ after listening to an oral application by the applicant Counsel, Barr. Wada A. Wada from the office of the Attorney General of Kano State, applying for an order for court to close the cleric mosque.

The judge ordered that Abduljabbar Nasir Kabara, should stop all preachings and unguarded utterances calculated to cause a breach of public peace in Kano.

The Sheikh has earlier complained how Kano State Government is trying to get back at him for his refusal to support its second term bid in the 2019 election.

Kano State government had on Wednesday night debarred Sheikh Abduljabar Sheikh Nasir Kabara from preaching in the state for his mode of teachings considered too incendiary.
