Court remands House Majority Leader, Alhassan Doguwa over murder of NNPP supporters in Kano

A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Kano  has remanded a House of Representative Majority leader, Alhassan Ado Doguwa  in the correctional centre over alleged murder of the supporters of New Nigerian Peoples Party during Saturday February 25 election in the state.

SAHELIAN TIMES reported that some  helpless people were locked in a building and burned to ashes, a situation that made it impossible for them to be rescued. Several others were shot and injured by Doguwa in his quest to win the election.
