A Kano magistrate court has remanded Abdulmalik Tanko in custody for the murder of Hanifa Abubakar, a 5-year-old girl in the state.
SAHELIAN TIMES reported how Haneefa Abubakar was abducted on December 4th, 2021 by her teacher and later killed after demanding N6m ransom.
Abdulmalik Tanko, Hashim Isyaku, and Fatima before Chief were arraigned before a court in Gidan Murtala, Kano on Monday, on charges of criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, concealing / keeping a kidnapped person in confinement, and culpable homicide.
The accused were remanded in prison custody after the charges were read to them on February 2nd, 2022.
