A Sharia Court in Kano has sent a popular Hausa TikTok skit maker, Murja Ibrahim Kunya to prison.
Miss Kunya was arraigned before the court on accusations of harassment and threat against another popular Kannywood actress, Aisha Najamu and another TikTok skit maker, Ashiru Idris.
She was also accused of corrupting the morals of the public through usage of indecent language on the Social Media.
The court then ordered for her to be detained pending resumption of the trial on the 16th of February.
However, counsel to the accused, Barrister Yadir Musa’s plea for his client to be detained under custody of the Kano State Hisbah instead of jail was denied by the judge.
