A magistrate court in Kano stopped Kano state Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje from organizing debate between Sheikh Abduljabbar Kabara and Kano clerics slated to take place this coming Sunday.
The decision came after a Kano based lawyer, Ma’auruf Yakasai filed a case asking the court to stop Ganduje from organizing the debate.
During the proceeding justice Muhammad Jibrin asked the state government to postponed the debate until 22 March, 2021.
