Bandits have killed a Divisional Police Officer (DPO), and injured a soldier, at Magarma, Jibia Local Government, Katsina State,
The slain DPO has been identified as ASP A. A Rano, while the injured soldier is Colonel Masoyi, according reports.
According to a source within the family of the late DPO, the tragedy occurred in the late hours of Wednesday.
He further revealed that the body of the killed DPO was being transported to Rano Local Government, Kano State, at the time of writing this story.
