A Facebook user, Ibrahim Sarki Abdullahi, has been quizzed by the Kano State command of the Department of State Service (DSS) for trolling a feminist, Zainab Nasir Ahmad.
SAHELIAN TIMES gathered the DSS invited Sarki regarding his personal activities on social media.
His counsel, Barrister Adam Bashir, told this paper in an interview that, they arrived at the office of the DSS around 2: 31 pm and left at 3: 21 pm on Sunday after his client answered questions from men of the secret police.
Abdullahi, had, on his Facebook page, posted a picture of Ms Nasir with a caption, “Malala ta shushe mu”, meaning “Malala has deceived us.”
Zainab on her Facebook page threatened to take a legal action.
“I’m writing this to let Ibrahim Sarki Abdullahi know that I’m on the process of taking a legal action against him and refunds for the damages caused by his behavior through using my picture and turning it into subject of ridicule in public. I spoke to my family and close friends and I accept the kind advices by them to take an action legally to protect myself and preserve my dignity.”
Ibrahim later deleted the post after Ms Nasir threatened legal action against him.
