DSS raid Tukur Mamu’s residence in Kaduna

Operatives of the Department of the State Services (DSS) broke into Tukur Mamu’s Kaduna home in the early hours of Thursday, less than 24 hours after the terrorists’ negotiator had been taken into custody.

The operatives reportedly stormed the residence in about 20 vehicles and ransacked the house and carted away documents, phones, and laptops.

Security sources said Mamu was arrested for his alleged involvement in collecting ransom and taking same to terrorists in exchange for kidnapped victims.

SAHELIAN TIMES reported that  Mamu was arrested at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano on Wednesday afternoon.

The Kaduna-based published who was first arrested in Egypt was detained for 24 hours before he was flown back to Nigeria.
