Pictures of Bashir El-Rufai, the son of Kaduna State Governor, and his wife, enjoying a vacation abroad has gone viral on Twitter, generating controversies in Nigerian Twitter community.
The bone of contention is that the wife isn’t wearing a Muslim Hijab in the pictures.
Unsurprisingly, Arewa Twitter trended for almost 2 hours; with a fierce back and forth of defending and accusations between Twitterzens.
People gave examples of how Rahama Sadau, the actress, was dragged for not wearing one and Deezell and his wife also, while Bello gets a pass.
Bello has not commented on the issue and continued uploading pictures of their vacation, seemingly unbothered.
