Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado, the former Chairman of Kano State Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission, is set to join the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2023 general elections.
It will be recalled that Kano State House of Assembly suspended Barrister Muhuyi Magaji as the chairman of PCACC on 5th July, 2021 over his refusal charges or insubordination.
According to a source closed to Magaji, he has since submitted an application online and a formal declaration at his Rimingado ward is expected later in February. Engagement with stakeholders is also in top gear.
Magaji’s posters have flooded the streets of Kano since his suspension on July 5, 2021.
Muhuyi’s phone was switched off at the time of writing this report when SAHELIAN TIMES reached out for clarification.
