Encomiums, prayers flow for man who donated Kaduna travelers mosque.

Many Nigerians have prayed and celebrated the life of an exemplary Muslim leader and philanthropist, Alhaji Sule Bako, the man who built and donated the popular trav‎eller’s mosque in Kaduna along the ever busy Kaduna-Zaria highway, who died on Wednesday, October 27, at a private hospital in Abuja.

 

The philanthropist was buried around 1:00 pm in Kaduna state according to Islamic rites. It was gathered that a large went to sympathise with the deceased’s family at his residence along Wushishi Road, Kaduna metropolis.

 

 

Yusuf Sule Bako, one of the sons, described his late dad as the best father in the world, adding that he was very religious.

 

Whle noting that late Bako’s death was a big loss to the family, Kaduna state and Nigeria, the deceased’s nephew noted that the vacuum he left ‎will be difficult to fill. The exemplary leader who earned his name as Mai Gaskiya ‎left behind 13 children and grandchildren.

 

Many people, including Shehu Sani, Munir Jafar and other prominent Nigerians have used social media applications to pray for him and shower praises on the noble act of creating a conducive environment for prayers and relaxation.

 

Abdulmutallab Zubairu, a mechanic, said “The travelers mosque is one destination I stop over a lot for relaxation and food. Their facilities are neat and clean. I hope with the death of Mai gaskiya, the facilities wouldn’t go into disarray. May Allah forgive his sins”.

 

Aisha Mohammed, a student of ABU Zaria, said, “I have so many fond memories of that place. Most of the family road trips growing up always had it as a rest stop. Allah Jikan shi da rahma”.

 

Kolawole Hakeem wrote, “Allahu Akbar. What a lucky fella. May we be opportune to have such good testimonies and prayers from multitudes as he is. May Allah grant him the highest station in jannah and May his good deeds outweigh his bad.”
