President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Principal Officers and Members of the Governing Councils for newly established Federal Polytechnic Kabo in Kano Sate.
SAHELIAN TIMES gathered that Professor Muhammed Sanusi Magaji has been appointed as the Rector of the Polytechnic, Shehu Umar Dumbulum as Registrar, Atobatele Adepoju Solomon as Bursar, and Kabiru Ubale as Librarian.
The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, presented the letters of appointment to the principal officers in his office on Monday.
Buhari had in April last year approved the establishment of three new polytechnics in various parts of the country.
The new institutions were located in Kano, Abia, and Delta states.
According to the president, the approval was in line with his determination to make tertiary education more accessible.
