Following the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, has begun the distribution of the grains of 40,000 metric tonnes of assorted grains to Nigerians.
The ministry launched the Emergency Distribution of Assorted Food Commodities to Displaced/Vulnerable Nigerians and Women Group at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp at Karmajiji, Airport Road, Abuja, on Thursday.
The distribution exercise is expected to continue in other federation states, serving as a palliative for Easter, Ramadan, and Sallah celebrations.
