An inferno has destroyed a portion of the Federal Ministry of Finance’s headquarters in Abuja Central Business District.
The Federal Ministry of Finance while confirming the incident in a Tweet said the fire occurred on the corridor in the basement involving an isolated battery pack and it has been put out by the security personnel on duty.

Black smoke was seen rising from a part of the building, on Wednesday morning.
