Freed 340 Kankara students to meet Buhari tomorrow

After gaining freedom from the hands of the captors, the 344 students of Government Science Secondary School Kankara are scheduled to meet President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura tomorrow.

The Secretary to Katsina State Government, Alhaji Mustapha Inuwa, who confirmed the release of the abducted students, also disclosed the planned meeting with the President, who is currently operating from his hometown, Daura in the state.

According to him, the schoolboys are already on their way to Katsina from Tsafe Local Government of Zamfara State.

He said, the schoolboys would be received by a delegation tonight, before they will be presented to President Muhammadu Buhari tomorrow.

The students were abducted last Friday by gunmen, in their school.
