Ganduje approves over 200m for Kano Pillars

Kano State government has approved the sum of N274, 230, 000.00 running cost for Kano Pillars football club.

The Commissioner of information Mallam Muhammad Garba announced this after the state executive council meeting held at Africa house, in the state government house.

He said the money has been released for the state darling team to facilitate smooth conduct of the year 2021 National Professional Football League.

Kano Pillars are currently playing their home matches in Kaduna at Ahmadu Bello stadium because the state government is using Sani Abacha stadium as isolation centre for Coronavirus patients.

Pillars are in 4th position with 14 points in Nigerian Premier league and will visit Ifeanyi Uba for their next match.
