Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya presented the 2021 Budget today at the House of Assembly complex in Gombe.
The Budget tagged ‘Budget of Resilience’ is valued at 119,663,856,626.00 naira comprising 52% capital expenditure and 48% recurrent expenditure.
According to the governor, the budget is expected to consolidate existing gains made in the past one and build strong social and economic resilience against the current economic crises that’s exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Governor reiterates his administration’s commitment to developing and implementing people-oriented programs for the betterment of his people.
On his part, the new speaker of the Gombe State House of Assembly thank the governor for his support, pledging that the legislature will give the government all he support needed to succeed.
