Gunmen abduct Immigration’s spokesperson in Edo

Gunmen have abducted Mrs Esene, the spokesperson of Edo State’s command of the Nigerian Immigration Service.

A source in the service said that Mrs. Esene was abducted on Sunday on her way to the church.

She was reportedly driving when the gunmen stopped her, forcefully ejected her from the car, and whisked her away.

When contacted, the spokesman of the state police command, Chidi Nwabuzor, refused to comment on the incident.

At the time of writing this report the abductors did not make contact with the family of the victim.
