Unknown gunmen have kidnapped the former chairman of Olamaboro Local Government, Isaac Emmanuel Ekpa, in Kogi State.
A source close to the ex-chairman while confirming the story said that, he was kidnapped on Friday in Ochadamu, on his way back home.
Mr. Ekpa was planning for his late father’s funeral ceremony before he was kidnapped.
The kidnappers have already contacted the family of Mr. Ekpa asking for N25 million naira ransom.
At the time of compiling this report, the family is negotiating the price of the ransom.
