Gunmen on Wednesday have killed 13 people after they planned another attack at Damaga town in Maradun Local Government Area, Zamfara State.
The bandits reportedly arrived their target community on motorbikes, attacked students of Junior Day Secondary School in which one student died at the scene after he was shot.
A source said that, the Bandits then moved inside the town and fired sporadically, killing twelve others.
‘The bandits first attacked Government Day Secondary School, but on their, arrival the students started running to their houses, unfortunately, one student was killed”, he added.
When contacted, Police Public Relation Officer, PPRO, Muhammad Shehu the command was not aware of the attack but promised to find out.
