Gunmen kill two staff of Federal Polytechnic in Zamfara
Suspected gunmen had, on Wednesday, killed two staff of the Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda, in Zamfara state after at least six armed men attacked the housing estate in Kaura Namoda.
While reacting to the incident, Yahaya Muhammad Bande, thehe rector of the polytechnic described the incident as unfortunate, barbaric and condemnable.
According to the residents, the victims identified as Nazifi and Bashiru Muhammad were shot to death outside their houses while discussing the attack not knowing that the assailants were lurking in an uncompleted building.
The deceased were since buried according to islamic rites.
