How 2 drug trafficking suspects escaped at court’s premises in Kano

Two suspected drug dealers on trial at the Federal High Court in Kano escaped Monday when they were brought to court room on Monday.

SAHELIAN TIMES gathered that the defendants were arraigned on Monday on charges of drug dealings, which may fetch them life imprisonment.

After hearing the case, the president judge immediately ordered for their remand in prison custody.

However, in a dramatic move, the suspects escaped, climbed the court’s wall and fled.

According to an eye witness, the prison officer responsible for the two suspects fractured both of his legs while trying to chase and re-arrest them.
