How mob killed travelers in Jos

Hoodlums on Wednesday attacked and killed travelers in Plateau State’s Jos North Local Government Area.

The travelers were reportedly on their way from Kano to Nassarawa State when the mob blocked their path along Zaria Road.

According to the survivors of the attack, the incident occurred at 12:00 a.m.

The vehicle transporting the passengers was set on fire, and other vehicles were smashed by the hoodlums.

While confirming the incident, the State Police Command’s spokesman, ASP Uba Gabriel, stated that the command was aware of the incident but that only two people were confirmed dead.

He added that the commissioner of police “is at the scene of the incident to restore law and order”.

Those who survived the attack had been taken to Bingham Hospital, Jos, for treatment.
